Car-Rep® Touch-up primer is composed of professional car refinish priming paste, acrylic binder and. It is designed to level smoothly, cover efficiently and dry quickly. Car-Rep® Touch-up primer offers a superior adhesion. No abrasion after priming is needed.
It is recommended to wait for 15 minutes after priming before applying the overcoat for the leveling of the primer.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1. Clean the area with Pre Paint Cleaner
2. Prime any unpainted area with Primer
3. Apply the Base Coat
a. Shake the can well.
b. Repair stone chips and small scratches with the pin. Lift the cap lid and the pin will appear. Press the can and point the pin on the spot to be painted. Let the paint flow on the damaged spot and let it dry.
c. Repair larger damages with the brush. Shake the can well. Twist the cap and a brush will appear. Brush the damaged spot and let it dry.
d. After drying you can use rubbing compound to smooth and shine the area.
e. Metallic colors need to be coated with Clear Coat. Shake the can well and apply a thin layer of Clear Coat on top of the painted area. After drying you can use rubbing compound to smooth and shine the area.
